Eternal's District unit explores acquisitions in venue booking segment

District , the “outdoor consumption” platform owned by Eternal, is expanding its focus into the recreational and amateur sports sector in India, moving beyond its existing ticketing and commerce operations to incorporate venue bookings and brand partnerships.District is also scouting for potential acquisitions within the sports venue booking and discovery segment to build a comprehensive sports ecosystem. The platform held acquisition talks with Delhi-based Hudle, but those talks did not conclude in a transaction.Launched in late 2024, District serves as a unified platform for outdoor consumption, integrating movie ticketing, live events, sports ticketing, dining, and retail aggregation. The platform reported a net order value of INR 2,736 crore for the January-March quarter, representing a 46% increase year-on-year.
