Foodtech startup Pluckk acquires meal-kit brand Kook for $1.3 M
Pluckk, a Mumbai-based lifestyle-oriented fresh food brand, has acquired Kook, a Gurugram-based foodtech startup that offers a range of do-it-yourself (DIY) meal kits, at a deal value of USD 1.3 million through a combination of cash and equity. Kook offers ready-to-cook meal kits by providing pre-portioned ingredients and recipes. The startup, which has a presence in Delhi and Mumbai, caters to various dietary preferences and cooking skills. Kook was founded by ISB alumni Nikhil Thatai and Arpitta Jerath in 2020 Pluckk offers a farm-to-fork product line for health-conscious consumers. It claims to sell chemical-free produce.
