Fortis Healthcare to acquire 228-bed Shrimann Hospital in Punjab for Rs.462-Cr

Gurugram-based Fortis Healthcare, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Fortis Hospital Ltd (FHTL), is to acquire Jalandhar-based 228-beds, Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital for INR 462 crore in an all-cash deal.Fortis already has 772 beds across four institutions (two in Ludhiana and one each in Mohali and Amritsar). The acquisition takes the count to 1,000.Founded in 2018, Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital offers a range of super specialities, including cardiac sciences, nephrology, general and laparoscopic surgery, oncology, neurosciences, and gastroenterology.
