Future Consumer completes stake sale in comics publisher Amar Chitra Katha

Publicly listed Future Consumer Ltd (FCL) has completed the sale of its stake in Amar Chitra Katha (ACKPL), the publisher of Amar Chitra Katha comics. The firm sold 3,61,000 shares of ACKPL, which has ceased to be a subsidiary of Future Consumer.

From the Venture Intelligence M&A Deals Database: Between 2012 and 2013, FCL had acquired a majority stake in ACKL. In May-22, FCL sold an 18.58% stake in ACKPL for INR 13.62 crore to Ramanaidu Daggubati and Spirit Media.
