Heritage Foods acquires assets of Suguna Dairy Products for Rs.3.8 Cr

Publicly listed Heritage Foods is to purchase the assets and procurement & sales network from Suguna Dairy Products (India) Private Limited for INR 2.81 crore in cash. Coimbatore-based Suguna Dairy Products is engaged in the business of milk and milk products. Through the acquisition, Heritage will strengthen its business in South Tamil Nadu and parts of the Kerala market. Suguna has its own procurement of 15000 lpd from 2 Chilling Centres and 10000 lpd from business Associates. It sells around 19000 lpd/kgpd (milk 17000 lpd & curd 2000 kgpd) in South Tamilnadu and Kerala markets.
