IITL to sell its 16.62 % stake in Future Generali Life to Dutch JV partner for Rs.225-Cr

Publicly listed Industrial Investment Trust Ltd (IITL) is to sell its entire 16.62% equity shareholding in Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd (FGILICL) for INR 225 crore to Generali Participations Netherlands NV. Generali Participations Netherlands NV is one of the joint venture partners of FGILICL. The transaction is expected to be completed before June 30, 2022. IITL is registered with the RBI as a non-deposit taking NBFC.
