India Cements to sell sugar biz assets to Sakthi Group’s Chamundeswari Sugars
Chennai-based Coromandel Sugars Ltd (CSL) , promoted by India Cements (ICL), is to sell its assets (including the sugar plant and others) to Coimbatore-based Sri Chamundeswari Sugars Ltd (SCSL), part of the Sakthi Group for an estimated INR 160-180 crore. Both SCSL and CSL have sugar plants in Mandya district of Karnataka.
