Interactive gaming co Nodwin acquires IPs from OML Entertainment for Rs.73-Cr

Nazara Technologies-owned sports company Nodwin Gaming has acquired the gaming and adjacent IP business of OML Entertainment for INR 73 crore (USD 10 million) in cash. The transaction will provide partial liquidity to OML Entertainment shareholders and CA Media. Ajay Nair, MD of OML Entertainment, will join the Gurgaon-based Nodwin Gaming board. OML works with comedians like Tanmay Bhat, Suhani Shah and Smay Raina. It is also involved with Levi's Music Week and the YouTube FanFest. Nodwin has a presence in India as well as in Africa and North America. It offers interactive gaming, e-sports and gamified early learning ecosystems. Earlier in March, Nodwin had raised INR 164 crore from Krafton, the developer of PUBG Mobile.
