Ironhill Hospitality acquires parent US beer chain in $11-M deal

Hyderabad-headquartered microbrewery chain Ironhill India has acquired its US-based parent firm through bankruptcy proceedings to form a beer maker with revenue of approximately INR 450-Cr. The transaction involves a total investment of USD 7 million in the American business, with USD 4 million allocated specifically to revive and reopen five outlets.The integration provides Ironhill India with access to the Ironhill global trademark and established brewing expertise and operational systems developed within the US market. The firm plans to implement American brewing processes and automated technologies to improve labor productivity and efficiency across its Indian outlets.The US operations include locations in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Following the merger, the company intends to expand its combined network to approximately 43 outlets across India and the US by 2030.
