JSW Paints to acquire 75% stake in Akzo Nobel India for Rs.8,986-Cr

JSW Paints Ltd has acquired a 74.76% stake in Akzo Nobel India Ltd (ANIL) for INR 8,986 crore from the Netherlands-based Akzo Nobel N.V. and its affiliates.Akzo Nobel India owns brands of paints & coatings like Dulux, International and Sikkens.The India Powder Coatings business and International Research Center, both currently part of ANIL, will be retained by Akzo Nobel under full ownership.
