Kals Distilleries gets approval for take over of distressed firm Thiru Arooran Sugars
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Chennai has approved the scheme of arrangement submitted by Kals Distilleries for the takeover of assets and properties of fellow Chennai-based Thiru Arooran Sugars Ltd. Kals Distilleries operates distillery and brewery units in Tamil Nadu's Pudukottai district. The scheme involved INR 145 crore plus liquidation expenses at actuals.
