KPIT Tech to acquire Israeli automotive cybersecurity co. Cymotive for $120-M

Pune-based publicly listed KPIT Technologies will acquire Tel Aviv, Israel-based Cymotive Technologies , an automotive cybersecurity firm, for USD 120 million. The acquisition will be executed in multiple tranches, starting with an initial investment of USD 10 million in preference capital, which is expected to close by mid-June 2026.Cymotive Technologies is a part of the Volkswagen Group. The firm specializes in end-to-end vehicle lifecycle cybersecurity, covering secure architecture, threat modelling, intrusion detection, continuous monitoring, and regulatory compliance.The acquisition is expected to strengthen KPIT Technologies' value proposition to global OEMs for an integrated approach to embedding cybersecurity into vehicle platforms from design through production and operations.
