KV Toys acquires 50% stake in Play Panda for Rs.4.5 Cr
New Delhi-based toy manufacturer KV Toys has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Mumbai-based Play Panda for up to Rs 4.5-Cr.Founded in 2015, Play Panda is a maker of educational and STEM-based learning products focused on developing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in children. Its products are sold through retail outlets and platforms such as Hamleys and Amazon.KV Toys markets its own products under the flagship brand QUCO and maintains an extensive retail presence across the domestic market. KV Toys plans to leverage the innovation capabilities and learning-focused portfolio of Play Panda to expand its market reach.
