L&T sells Smart World and Communication business to its tech arm for Rs.800-Cr

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) tech arm L&T Technology Services (LTTS) will acquire its Smart World and Communication (SWC) business for INR 800 crore. The acquisition will be completed by March 31. Smart World and Communication (SWC) business caters to smart cities, utilities, and digital infrastructure by providing end-to-end communications, city surveillance and intelligent traffic management systems for the central and state governments. It also offers lifecycle threat management capabilities, risk assessment, threat monitoring, security architecture, and design.
