Laxmi Dental to acquire 58% stake in health-tech co. IDBG AI Dent Global for Rs.2-Cr
Mumbai-headquartered, publicly listed dental products maker Laxmi Dental is to invest INR 2.05 crore in Gujarat-based healthtech company IDBG AI Dent Global Pvt Ltd (AI Dent) by subscribing to 49% of the equity share capital and 9% of the CCPS (compulsorily convertible preference shares).Upon completion of the deal, Laxmi Dental will hold a 58% stake in the company.The new funds raised by the company will be used to strengthen its research and development efforts, expand its presence, and support its technology offerings.AI Dent is developing AI-based dental imaging and diagnostic tools, with a focus on artificial intelligence in dentistry, including AI-powered dental image, X-ray analysis software and AI-powered dentistry.
