Logistics co Porter sells FMCG Modern Trade biz to Cogos Technologies

VC-backed Porter, a Bengaluru-based, on-demand intra-city logistics company, has divested its FMCG Modern Trade business segment to Cogos Technologies, another Bengaluru-headquartered tech-logistics startup. Porter now plans to focus on on-spot demand services and technology amelioration. Porter operates in 15 cities across India. Cogos has been working towards organising the city-logistics market. Post the transaction, Cogos would have FMCG vertical operations in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad, and will eventually expand this to over 300 cities where it is already present.
