Logistics property developer Logos’ team acquires India assets for $100-M

A private consortium led by Logos Group co-founder Trent Iliffe, along with former India CEO Mehul Shah and Vietnam CEO Glenn Hughes, has acquired the Logos Vietnam and India business in a deal valued at USD 100 million. Logos Asia chief investment officer Aaron Murray is also part of this consortium.The transaction includes the acquisition of both the country platforms and three existing fund ventures, representing a combined asset under management (AUM) of nearly USD 1 Billion. The deal marks the first-ever management buyout (MBO) involving an Indian portfolio of logistics and warehousing assets.The Indian portfolio, which spans over 7 million sq ft, includes both operational and under-development assets strategically located across four cities. These assets are positioned in key logistics hubs, catering to the demand for warehousing and supply chain infrastructure.The new entity to be controlled by the management team in Singapore will focus on the development, ownership and management of logistics and industrial assets, serving a wide range of industries like ecommerce, retail and manufacturing across key markets in the region. It will also focus on carbon farming and digital infrastructure business.Hong Kong based ESR Group completed the acquisition of Logos Group last year.
