Lupin to buy Australian generics firm Southern Cross Pharma
Mumbai-based, publicly listed pharma firm Lupin Ltd is to acquire 100% of Melbourne-based Southern Cross Pharma Pty Ltd (SCP), which is engaged in developing, registering, and distributing generic products. Under the deal, Generic Health, an Australian wholly-owned subsidiary of Lupin, will gain access to over 60 registered products of SCP with sales of over AUD 30 million (approx USD 22 million).
