Manipal Health completes acquisition of hospital property in Mumbai’s Andheri for Rs.495-Cr

The Temasek and TPG-backed hospital chain Manipal Health Enterprises has acquired a hospital property in Andheri, Mumbai, for Rs.495-Cr. This transaction constitutes the second phase of a broader acquisition that brings the total transaction value to Rs.908-Cr.The deal includes a 0.19-acre land parcel and an operational hospital building with a built-up area of approximately 2.22 lakh sq ft. The sellers included Khubchandani Hospitals, Khubchandani Properties and Investment, and Perfect Realty.In 2024, Manipal Health completed the first tranche of this acquisition, which covered the majority of the 2.62-acre land area and the primary hospital building, for Rs.413-Cr.Manipal Health operates a network of 37 hospitals across 19 cities with a total capacity exceeding 10,500 beds.
