Mankind Pharma acquires Roche's neuro-drug brand Rivotril for India market

NCR-based, publicly listed Mankind Pharma has acquired the Rivotril brand from Roche for the Indian market. This acquisition grants Mankind Pharma exclusive rights for the domestic manufacture, marketing, and distribution of the product within India.Rivotril is an innovator reference brand of clonazepam, prescribed for the management of neurological and psychiatric conditions. The acquisition is aligned with Mankind Pharma’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence in chronic and specialty therapies through new launches, in-licensing partnerships, and portfolio additions.The company plans to leverage its field force and distribution network to support physicians and patients across India.
