Marico acquires 60% stake in nutrition brand Cosmix for Rs.226-Cr
Mumbai-based publicly listed Marico Ltd has acquired a 60% stake in Harohalli, Karnataka-based Cosmix for INR 225.67 crore. Founded in 2019 by Vibha Harish and Soorya Jagadish, Cosmix specializes in plant-based proteins and superfood blends. The company intends to leverage this partnership to expand its presence in related wellness and nutraceutical categories and enhance its multi-channel distribution. For the fiscal year 2024-25, its turnover was INR 50.93 crore.
For FY24, Cosmix had reported about INR 24 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 3 Cr in PAT.
