Marico to acquire 75% stake in dermatology-focused Vietnamese co. Skinetiq for Rs.350-Cr

Mumbai-based publicly listed Marico Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Marico South-East Asia Corporation, is to acquire a 75% stake in Vietnamese direct-to-consumer skincare company Skinetiq Joint Stock Company valued at approximately INR 350 crore.Founded in 2020 by Bui Ngoc Anh and Hannah Nguyen, Skinetiq primarily operates through online channels, using social commerce and dermatology-focused content. It operates two brands - digital-first skincare brand "Candid" and luxury clinical skincare brand "Murad" in Vietnam. Candid's product portfolio includes science-backed skincare solutions for the mid-premium segment, such as retinol treatments, barrier-repair creams, multi-layer hydration masks, and brightening formulations.
