Marico to buy Vietnam's personal care co Beauty X Corp for Rs.172-Cr

Marico Ltd, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Marico South East Asia Corporation, is to acquire 100% shares of Vietnam-based Beauty X Joint Stock Company, for Vietnamese Dong (VND) 493 Billion (INR 172 crore). Beauty X, an SPV incorporated in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2022, owns female personal care brands “Purité de Prôvence” and “Ôliv”, which offer a range of hair care and skin care products such as shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, face wash, and lotions. The company posted a turnover of VND 251 Billion (INR 82 crore) for CY2021.
