MedGenome acquires stake in GenX Diagnostics to strengthen presence in Eastern states
MedGenome, a Bengaluru- and Foster City, CA (USA)-based genetic diagnostics, research, and data company has acquired a stake in Odisha-based diagnostics lab chain GenX Diagnostics . The acquisition will help further aim to expand MedGenome's network in Tier-II & III cities in India by driving deeper penetration, new market development, and bringing new tests to the market.Founded in 2017 by Dr. Biswajit Mohanty and Dr. Bikash Agarwal, GenX Diagnostics has seven diagnostic centres and 60 collection centres across Odisha.
Between Nov 2013 and Aug 2022, MedGenome had raised over USD 186 M from its investors
