Metropolis Healthcare acquires Kolhapur’s Ambika Pathology Labs for Rs.17-Cr

Kolhapur-based Ambika Pathology Laboratory has been acquired by Mumbai-headquartered Metropolis Healthcare for INR 17 crore, including a deferred component of INR 1.7 crore.Ambika operates a central laboratory supported by 12 patient touchpoints. About 75% of its revenue is from business-to-consumer / walk-in patients. For FY25, the company reported a turnover of INR 7.96 crore. The acquisition will lead to the setting up of a mini reference laboratory.
