Nazara’s arm Absolute Sports acquires combat sports IPs TJRWrestling.net, ITRWrestling.com for Rs.10

Bengaluru-based sports and gaming platform Absolute Sports, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and the parent company of Sportskeeda.com, is to acquire two IPs (Intellectual Property Rights) - Glasgow based ITRWrestling.com and TJRWrestling.net aTitan Insider Digital. The transaction, valued at USD 1.25 million (INR 10.5 crore), will be an all-cash asset purchase via the company's USA-based subsidiary, Sportskeeda Inc.This acquisition is expected to strengthen Sportskeeda's position in the combat sports segment and expand its presence in the USA.TJRWrestling and ITRWrestling, established in 2009 and 2020 respectively, have built an audience base within the wrestling fan community through combat sports news and content coverage. Together, they claim to attract 1.7 million monthly active users and generate 4.6 million monthly pageviews, mostly from North America. They generated USD 722,000 (about INR 6.1 crore) in revenue in 2024.
