Pharma co. Viyash Scientific’s arm to acquire Italian pet care products maker BioForLife for Rs.188-

Hyderabad-based, publicly listed pharmaceutical company Viyash Scientific, through its wholly owned subsidiary Alivira Animal Health, is to acquire a 100% stake in Milan, Italy-based BioForLife Italia Srl for INR 188 crore in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of the 2027 fiscal year.Founded in 2010, BioForLife develops and distributes pet care products. The company maintains a portfolio that includes nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals, and rapid diagnostic tests, while also developing segments in dermatology and ophthalmology.The transaction is expected to provide a platform for launching new products from the Alivira pipeline in Italy, while also facilitating the expansion of the BioForLife product range into markets across Asia, Europe, West Asia, and Latin America.
