Power Grid acquires UP-based transmission SPV for over Rs.9-Cr

State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) has acquired Mohanlalganj Transmission Ltd (MTL) in Uttar Pradesh for INR 9.11 crore, including 10,000 equity shares. Incorporated in June 2021, MTL is an SPV (special purpose vehicle) to establish an intra-state transmission system.
