Rainbow Hospitals to buy 76% stake in women-focused Prashanthi Medicare for Rs.24-Cr

Publicly-listed Rainbow Children's Medicare (Rainbow Hospitals) is to acquire a majority stake in Warangal-based Prashanthi Medicare Pvt Ltd (Prashanthi Hospital) for INR 24 crore by subscribing 76% of fully diluted equity share capital and 100% of Non-Convertible Redeemable Preference shares (NCRPS) of the company.The integration of the Warangal facility with Rainbow’s Hyderabad hub is expected to enable advanced referrals, super-specialty consultations, and access to quaternary-level care for complex pediatric and maternal cases for Warangal Region.Incorporated in 2024, Prashanthi Medicare offers a range of services, including obstetrics, gynecology, laparoscopic surgeries, neonatology, pediatrics and pediatric critical care.
