Redington's Turkey unit acquires local distribution co Brightstar for $35-M

Integrated supply chain solution provider Redington's step down Turkey-based subsidiary Arena Bilgisayar Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. is to acquire 100% shares of Turkey-based Brightstar Telekomünikasyon Dağıtım Ltd. Şti. (Brightstar) for USD 35 million in cash. Brightstar's operations primarily consist of value-added distribution of smartphones, devices, consumer electronics and accessories to telecom operators.
