Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols to buy Cargill India’s corn milling plant for Rs.250-Cr

Publicly listed, Ahmedabad-based Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols (RSGB) will purchase Cargill India’s corn wet milling division to re-enter the starch business. The asset purchase involves the acquisition of Cargill India's plant in Davangere, Karnataka for about INR 250 crore. The plant, including warehouses and corn silos, is spread over 52 acres and has a 3 lakh MT capacity to manufacture maltodextrin, liquid glucose, and co-products like corn germ, corn gluten, and corn fibre.
