Germany headquartered Siemens AG is to purchase an 18% stake in its India listed subsidiary, Siemens Limited, from Siemens Energy, for INR 18,968 crore (USD 2.28 billion). Siemens AG presently holds a 51% stake in Siemens (India). The deal will help Siemens Energy strengthen its financial position
