Sigma Advanced Systems acquires UK aerospace co. Bromford Precision for Rs.153-Cr
Publicly listed, Hyderabad-headquartered Sigma Advanced Systems has acquired Leicestershire, UK-based aerospace parts manufacturer Bromford Precision Solutions for about GBP 11.89 million (INR 153 crore). The transaction represents an enterprise value to adjusted EBITDA (CY2026 estimate) multiple of approximately 4.6x. Bromford had reported a turnover of GBP 1.782 crore (INR 228.04 crore) for the twelve-month period ended April 30, 2026. It is an operationally profitable business.Founded in 1988, Bromford makes high-precision, complex aero-engine ring components and engine structures, including compressor casings, ducts, brackets, and lock plates. Sigma plans to use the acquisition to strengthen its presence within the aero-engine supply chain and complement its existing UK division, Nasmyth Group. It plans to transition select component manufacturing to India to drive margin expansion.
