Skymap Pharma to acquire PSU Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corp for Rs.121-Cr
Delhi-based Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation (IMPCL) is to be acquired by Skymap Pharmaceuticals for INR121-Cr. The transaction involves a 100% equity stake purchase along with the transfer of management control.IMPCL is a state-run entity operating under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Ayush. This acquisition represents the first strategic divestment of a public sector entity in FY25.IMPCL is involved in the manufacturing and marketing of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines. It has a manufacturing facility in Almora, Uttarakhand.
