SML Mahindra to acquire truck and bus business of Mahindra & Mahindra for Rs.525-Cr
SML Mahindra has agreed to acquire the truck and bus division ( MTBD ) of fellow publicly listed group company, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) for a cash consideration of Rs. 525 crore, subject to working capital adjustments. During the Financial Year 2025-26, the target division sold 14,832 vehicles and posted a turnover of Rs. 2,989 crore.The acquisition is aimed at creating a unified Truck & Bus business in Mahindra Group with a presence across light, intermediate and heavy commercial vehicles.
