Solar PV cell maker Waaree to acquire 64% stake in electrical transformers maker Kotson's for Rs.192

Waaree Energies Ltd, a publicly listed, Mumbai-based manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, is to acquire a 64% equity stake in Alwar, Rajasthan-based Kotson's Pvt Ltd for INR 192 crore (2.56 crore shares at INR 75 per share having a face value of INR 10 per share).Kotson's Pvt Ltd, established in 1978, is in the business of designing, manufacturing and supplying advanced transformer solutions.
