Star Cement acquires 30% stake in JSW Green Energy Six for Rs.23-Cr

Kolkata-headquartered Star Cement Group has acquired 30% of the paid-up equity shares of Mumbai-based JSW Green Energy Six for INR 23.06 crore, with Star Cement contributing INR 15.37 crore and Star Cement North East contributing INR 7.69 crore.JSW Green Energy Six is engaged in the development, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable energy-based power plants in India. The transaction is expected to be completed within 18 months.
