Stationery brand Doms acquires 52% stake in baby diapers maker Uniclan for Rs.55-Cr

Doms Industries Ltd , a stationery and art material brand, has acquired a 51.77 % equity stake in Jaipur-based Uniclan Healthcare Pvt Ltd for INR 54.88 crore. The acquisition marks Doms’ entry into the baby hygiene segment.Uniclan is a producer of baby diapers, wipes, and other hygiene products.The deal involves Doms acquiring 71,16,080 equity shares, with INR 28.88 crore earmarked for primary infusion to fund Uniclan’s expansion, debt repayment, and working capital needs.
