Steel structures maker Salasar completes acquisition of EMC Ltd for Rs.178-Cr
New Delhi-headquartered Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd (STEL) has paid INR 168 crore as balance payment to complete the acquisition of Kolkata-headquartered EMC Ltd (formerly Electrical Manufacturing Company Ltd) through an insolvency process. The total acquisition cost of acquisition is INR 178 crore.STEL is into manufacturing of steel structures. EMC Ltd offers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to the power industry.
