Tata Power buys Karnataka-based transmission co. RPTL for Rs.11-Cr

Tata Power Company has acquired 100% equity stake in Ryapte Power Transmission Ltd (RPTL), a special purpose vehicle set up to build, own and operate a major transmission project in Karnataka.The acquisition was an all-cash transaction, with Tata Power paying INR 10.87 crore to acquire full ownership of RPTL.
