Thyrocare Technologies to acquire Vimta Labs’ diagnostic biz for Rs.7-Cr

Mumbai-headquartered Thyrocare Technologies Ltd is to acquire the diagnostic and pathological services business of fellow publicly-listed, Hyderabad-headquartered Vimta Labs Ltd . The all-cash deal is valued at INR 7 crore. Vimta is a full-service contract research and testing organization offering a wide spectrum of services.The acquisition is expected to give Thyrocare access to 11 diagnostic centres across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha, including a NABL-accredited central processing laboratory in Hyderabad.
