Travel portal ixigo acquires 60% in Spanish ticketing platform, 45% in tech co. Sqaas

Publicly listed Le Travenues Technology Ltd, which owns travel tech service ixigo, has acquired a 60% stake in Spain-based Online Travel Solutions, S.L. (Trenes) for EUR 11.7 million and a 45.02% stake in Squad As Service, S.L. (Sqaas) for EUR 0.45 million.Trenes is the second-largest online train ticketing platform in Spain, serving the Spanish and select Southern European markets, with revenues of EUR 5.5 million in CY25. ixigo retains the option to acquire the remaining shares in the future.Sqaas is an early-stage AI-focused technology company. ixigo holds an option to acquire additional stakes in the future.
