Varun Beverages’ arm Bevco to acquire South Africa’s Crickley Dairy for Rs.131.5 Cr

Publicly listed Varun Beverages Ltd (via its South African SPV “Bevco”), is to acquire a 100% equity stake in South Africa-based Crickley Dairy Proprietary Ltd at an enterprise valuation of ZAR 238 million (INR 131.47 crore) from Crickley’s parent Clark Holdings Proprietary Ltd.The acquisition is intended to diversify Varun Beverages's product portfolio by expanding into new categories such as value-added dairy and juice-based beverages.This move follows Varun Beverages's previous expansions in South Africa, which include the acquisition of The Beverage Company and its wholly owned subsidiary BevCo in March 2024, and the complete acquisition of Twizza, also through Bevco, in December.
