Varun Beverages’ arm in talks to acquire Alcobrew Distilleries at Rs.2,500-Cr valuation

Kiva Spirits, a subsidiary of Varun Beverages, is in talks to acquire Gurugram-based Alcobrew Distilleries India for an enterprise value between INR 2,000 crore and INR 2,500 crore.Established in 2002, Alcobrew maintains a portfolio of 13 alcoholic beverage products, including whisky, vodka, gin, brandy, and rum brands such as Gamber Valley single malt, White & Blue, and Golfer’s Shot. The firm operates distillation and bottling facilities in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, with an export presence across 20 countries.This acquisition is intended to provide Kiva Spirits with an established manufacturing, licensing, and distribution network to support its entry into the alcoholic beverage segment.

For FY25, Alcobrew Distilleries had reported about INR 1,615 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 69 Cr in PAT.
