Virescent to acquire 100 MW solar power portfolio from Jakson Group for Rs.400-Cr

Virescent Infrastructure, which manages the Virescent Renewable Energy Trust (VRET), is set to purchase about 100 MW of solar power portfolio from the Jakson Group for around INR 400 crore. The portfolio includes three operational solar projects in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, which have long-term power purchase agreements with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd and Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd for 25 years.
