Wellness startup Healthify merges with US-based nutrition care co. Berry Street

Bengaluru-based wellness startup Healthify has merged with the US-based nutrition care firm Berry Street. The transaction will see the combined entity being jointly led by Healthify founder Tushar Vashisht and Berry Street founder Noah Kotlove, who will serve as co-CEOs. The combined business will operate under the Healthify label in India and other markets, while retaining the Berry Street brand for the US market. Healthify’s investors will remain invested in the combined company.Founded in 2012 by Tushar Vashisht, Mathew Cherian, and Sachin Shenoy, Healthify, formerly known as HealthifyMe, operates a health and fitness platform that provides diet tracking, weight management tools, and access to coaches. The firm plans to integrate its proprietary AI platform, Ria, with Berry Street’s metabolic health platform to offer expert metabolic care.

Between May 2016 and Oct 2024, Healthify had attracted about $ 158 M from Claypond Capital, Khosla Ventures, Blume Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Finnfund, HealthQuad, LeapFrog, Unilever Ventures, Sistema Asia Fund, InnoVen Capital, Dream Incubator, NB Ventures, Athera Venture Partners, Others.For FY25, Healthify had reported about INR 178 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4.7 Cr in Net Loss.
