Winair to acquire 79% in debt-trapped airline TruJet for Rs.200-Cr

Nagpur-headquartered Winair Aviation is acquiring a 79% stake in debt-strapped TruJet (Turbo Megha Airways ) for INR 200 crore. TrueJet has signed a term sheet with WinAir on 26th April 2022. Winair expects that by December, Hyderabad-based TruJet will be able to fly 17 aircraft a day along with 3 backup ATR-600 aircraft.
