Zenex Animal Health acquires majority stake in Dutch firm VievePharm

Ahmedabad-based Zenex Animal Health India has acquired a majority stake in Enter, the Netherlands-based VievePharm .VievePharm specializes in phytogenic formulations for the livestock, equine, and pet care markets. The acquisition expands Zenex's portfolio of natural and herbal animal health products. VievePharm's bolus technology for delivering minerals, vitamins, and udder health support will be integrated into Zenex's global product offerings.The acquisition is intended to accelerate Zenex's entry into Western European markets using VievePharm's distribution network, aligning with the EU's Farm to Fork Strategy to reduce veterinary antibiotic sales by 50% by 2030. Zenex currently operates across Asia, Africa, and parts of the CIS region.
