3 space-tech cos raise funding from IN-SPACe under TAF scheme

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has selected three space-tech companies - Bengaluru-based Astrobase Space Technologies , Bengaluru-based SatSure Analytics and Hyderabad-based TakeMe2Space for financial support under its Technology Adoption Fund (TAF) scheme. This is the first instance of direct investment by the agency into domestic startups, with financial support capped at INR 25 crore per project.Founded in 2024 by Devakumar Thammisetty and Neeraj Khandelwal, Astrobase Space Technologies intends to use the capital to develop an 800 kN high-thrust closed-cycle liquid rocket engine for space launch vehicles.Founded in 2017 by Prateep Basu, Rashmit Singh Sukhmani, and Abhishek Raju, SatSure Analytics will develop a large earth observation model named Dhaarini to serve as a foundational AI platform for remote sensing.Founded in 2023 by Ronak Kumar Samantray, TakeMe2Space plans to use the support to build AI models for satellites in orbit that can be operated and rented.

In Jul 2025, Astrobase had attracted about $7-M from Banyan Co.Between Oct 2021 and Dec 2024, SatSure had attracted about $32-M from ADB, Baring India, Omidyar Network, Promus Ventures, Luckbox Ventures, Luckbox Ventures, and others.For FY25, SatSure had reported about Rs.31-Cr in Operating Income and about Rs.32-Cr in Net Loss.Between Feb 2025 and May 2026, TakeMe2Space had attracted about $7.64 M from Chiratae Ventures, Artha India Ventures, SEA Fund, Unicorn India Ventures, AC Ventures, Blume Ventures, and others.For FY25, TakeMe2Space had reported about Rs.0.11 Cr in Operating Income and about Rs.1.57 Cr in Net Loss.
