Bharti Airtel ties up with Tata Group for indigenous 5G tech
Publicly-listed Bharti Airtel and Tata Group have formed a strategic partnership for implementing 5G networks solutions in India. Tata Group has developed an O-RAN based Radio & NSA/SA Core and has integrated a totally indigenous telecom stack that will be available for commercial development starting January 2022. Airtel will pilot and deploy this indigenous solution beginning next year as part of its 5G rollout plans in India.
